The field of health literacy can feel confusing and disorganized. This is often the nature of deeply interdisciplinary and intersectoral endeavors. There is no single simple narrative. Indeed, to cultivate this field we will need to continually learn and relearn what it means to do the work of health literacy. Thank you for helping make HLRP: Health Literacy Research and Practice an intellectual meeting place for people who aim to make public health and health care easier to use and understand. Working together, we can reduce barriers for people who do not have the privilege and power of education.

The good news is that we now have authors in many places around the world grappling with health literacy challenges, and a growing number of countries have prioritized health literacy in their health and public health agendas. We aim to continue to be inspired by the creativity and energy of our peers.

Thank you for joining us in building a home for peer-reviewed research and practice here at HLRP: Health Literacy Research and Practice. We are certainly indebted to the efforts of all the authors and reviewers. We celebrate the Journal's listing in PubMed and take the opportunity to thank all the reviewers below.
