Pediatric Annals

Erratum Free

The Healthy Baby column “Streptococcal Pharyngitis: Guidelines, Treatment Issues, and Sequelae” by Stan L. Block, MD, FAAP, which was published in the Janaury 2014 issue of Pediatric Annals (volume 43, number 1, pp. 11–16), has been amended. On page 15, the text in the middle column, third paragraph should read as follows: “Some experts believe that certain first- and second-generation cephalosporins — such as such as cephalexin, cefaclor, and cefprozil — may have too much intrinsic cross-reactivity with the penicillins and are best avoided in this scenario.” The online article and its erratum are considered the version of record.
