Correction

Abstract

In the September 2003 issue of Pediatric Annals, page 596, the following statement was printed incorrectly:

"While the study revealed that infants bom in regions with very few neonatologists have a higher neonatal death rate than those bom in other regions, there was no difference in mortality as the number of neonatologists increased above a threshold of 4.3 per 1 ,000 live births."

The statistic should read "4.3 per 10,000 live births."
