October 29-31, 1986: An Advanced Pediatric Lire Support Course will be held at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore, Maryland. The course objective is to familiarize physicians with the most common life-threatening conditions in children and to develop skills that will allow the physician to competently resuscitate, stabilize, evaluate, and triage a seriously injured or ill child. This will be achieved through the utilization of various educational methods: didactic methods lectures, small group demonstrations, procedures in animal laboratory and small-group case study discussion.
