The paragraph under the heading PREMATURE THELARCHE should read: "Premature thelarche refers to isolated bilateral (or rarely, unilateral) breast tissue development without any other signs of puberty and without further significant progress in the size of the breasts in girls until pubertal age.3'5'7 To date, numerous cases have been reported, and girls with premature thelarche are generally considered to be otherwise normal. Nonetheless, confirmation of premature thelarche is necessary to differentiate it from true precocious puberty in girls whose puberty is progressive."
