CORRECTION - PEDIATRIC HEAD INJURIES

Abstract

Tables 1 and 3 were produced incorrectly in the article "Pediatric Head Injuries" in our December issue (Volume 7, No. 12, serial pages 827 and 833). The correct versions of the tables are printed here. Readers may want to clip out the corrected tables and paste them in the appropriate places in the December issue. Dr. Rosman has also asked that the following clarifications be made in the article as printed:

Page 826; lines 16 and 17: "... accidents are the leading cause of death in children between the ages of one and 14 years." (adding the word years)

Page 829, under the heading "Amnesia," "Temporary retrograde amnesia is an amnesia that has occurred prior to the head injury, sometimes extending back to many years before."

Page 838. The bibliographic listing for Craft (no. 2) is found in Volume 23 of the Handbook of Clinical Neurology. The volume by Plum (no. 18) was published in 1972, not 1962, as printed.
