Abstract

A little more than 5 years ago, the February 2004 issue of Pediatric Annals was guest edited by Dr. B U.K. Li, with the title “Recurrent Abdominal Pain in Children.” I specifically recall learning about the Rome II diagnostic criteria for the symptom-based diagnosis of 13 functional pediatric gastrointestinal disorders from the articles in that issue.
