EFORT FOUNDATION: Medacta Visiting Fellowship 2016

Applications for the Medacta 2016 visiting fellowship are open throughout the year to orthopaedic specialists based on their national regulations, as well whether they are younger than 45 years of age or are residents in their last year of residency.

Candidates may apply for medium-term or long-term fellowships in order to visit one of the recognized hosting centers. Please consult the list of hosting centers for further information.

EFORT Medacta Fellowship 

All applications will be periodically reviewed by the EFORT Foundation evaluation committee, and all the candidates will be notified in writing in May (applications from 1 December to 31 March), October (applications from 1 April to 31 August) or January (applications from 1 September to 30 November).

Each grant is designed to support the fellow’s travel and living expenses for the duration of their stay with EUR 2,000/month. For intercontinental travel, fellows will receive an additional sum of EUR 1,000 to cover the higher cost of travel.

Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications throughout the year and one application is allowed per year of reference. Applicants who have not been awarded a visiting fellowship grant in the course of the previous 2 years are allowed to apply again for the current year.
