Ankylosing spondylitis disease activity, transfusion associated with blood loss during THA

November 19, 2017

Results of this retrospective study showed a positive association between disease activity, allogeneic blood transfusion volume and change of hematocrit concentration from preoperatively to postoperatively with perioperative blood loss among patients with ankylosing spondylitis undergoing total hip arthroplasty.
