OptiCon to join Vision Expo in 2018

Vision Expo and OptiCon have announced a partnership that will bring the company to the expo beginning in 2018 at Vision Expo East in New York.

“As we head into our 10th year, OptiCon is incredibly proud to provide attendees with a program and experience that they continue to value,” Jim Morris, executive director of ABO&NCLE, said in a press release from Vision Expo.

“Through OptiCon’s partnership with Vision Expo, attendees will find the personalized program that they have come to expect, along with expanded education and networking opportunities, all just steps from the industry’s most expansive show floor,” he continued

The partnership will provide attendees with educational programs for opticians and a series of special events and education packages. Vision Expo will now include an OptiCon hub that will provide networking space and pop-up talks.

“We have always believed that the quality of our show is only as good as the education that we can bring to the eye care providers who drive the profession forward, and we continue to raise the bar by expanding our offerings with OptiCon content,” Melissa Ashley, senior vice president of Reed Exhibitions, said in the release.
