KOLOA, Hawaii – Hot Topics in the Tropics will feature timely topics in a mini symposium format Tuesday as part of the Hawaiian Eye Comprehensive Ophthalmology program.
Retina will feature Macular Degeneration in 2014: The Therapeutic Revolution Continues. Diana V. Do, MD, and Andrew P. Schachat, MD, will split the moderator duties for the Retina program.
David F. Chang, MD, will lead a panel discussion on Cataract Surgery Complications for the comprehensive ophthalmologist program. Chang will be joined by moderator Roger F. Steinert, MD, at 10 a.m. for a Mini Symposium on Astigmatism Correction, and Sonia H. Yoo, MD, takes over at 11:45 a.m. to lead a debate on challenging complications in refractive surgery cases. Chang and Steinert join forces again to address hot topics at 12:15 p.m.
It is “New Technology Day” for the Administrator Program. The Nurse and Allied Health Program will focus on glaucoma. Laurie K. Brown, COMT, COE, OSA, OCS, will moderate the Administrator Program; and Jane T. Shuman, COT, COE, OCS, will moderate Nurse and Allied Health.
All programs start at 7:30 a.m.
