The article “SMILE Versus Implantable Collamer Lens Implantation for High Myopia: A Matched Comparative Study” by Siedlecki et al., which was published in the March 2020 issue of the Journal of Refractive Surgery (volume 36, number 3, pp. 150–159), has been amended to include a factual correction. An error was identified subsequent to its original printing. The last sentence in the Conclusions of the abstract should read: “In this refraction-matched comparative study, ICL implantation for high myopia yielded better refractive accuracy, higher safety and efficacy indices, fewer higher order aberrations, and better subjective quality of vision than SMILE.” This error was acknowledged on page 352, volume 36, issue 5. The online article and its erratum are considered the version of record.
