Introduction and Faculty

During Hawaiian Eye 2017, key opinion leaders gathered for an Industry Expert Theater panel discussion, sponsored by Alcon Laboratories, Inc., and moderated by Thomas W. Samuelson, MD, on the use of microinvasive glaucoma surgery in conjunction with cataract surgery to manage IOP in patients with glaucoma. This Education Lab activity recaps the key takeaways from the event, including an overview of MIGS; the technical features, efficiency and safety of CyPass Micro-Stent (Alcon Laboratories, Inc.), a recently approved MIGS device; and presented case studies of patients implanted with this device.

All faculty members are paid Alcon consultants.
