Fall classes are now under way. Members of the McGraw-Hill staff join me in wishing you every success in your teaching program in the new school year.
With this issue of your journal of Nursing Education, we are very pleased to introduce and welcome two new members to the Editorial Board for JNE. Miss Elizabeth Kerr of the College of Nursing, State University of Iowa will serve on the board as advisor in Practical Nursing Education, and Mrs. Verle H. Waters of San Jose City College, San Jose, California will serve as advisor for the Associate Degree programs. Mrs. Hassenplug and Miss Shanks will continue to serve as advisors for the Baccalaureate Nursing programs, and Miss Sleeper as advisor for Diploma programs. We welcome the new members of the Editorial Board to the JNE staff and are looking forward to working with them and the rest of the board to bring you the best in nursing education and literature.
At the same time, we regretfully announce the resignations of Mr. Clifford Jordan and Dr. Hendrik De Kruif from the Editorial Board for JNE. Their heavy responsibilities have made it impossible for them to continue to devote the time and attention necessary for the important task of selecting material for publication in the journal. We very much appreciate their contributions to the success of JNE, and we feel sure that they will continue to follow our progress with enthusiasm and interest.
