The Society of Geriatric Ophthalmology has published booking Out for Someone Else's Eyes, a guide that describes how caregivers can provide help for failing eyesight among the elderly.
The pamphlet discusses the importance of regular eye examinations and offers nine eye care tips to help the elderly. The symptoms indicating cataracts, retinal disease, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease are also included. The pamphlet ends with two home vision tests.
