USC PROFESSORS NAMED TO FEDERAL PANEL

Abstract

LOS ANGELES- Two University of Southern California professors are members of a new federal advisory panel to study the impact of technology on aging in America. Pauline Robinson and Caleb Finch, both faculty members at USCs Ethel Percy Andrus Gerontology Center, recently were invited to join the Office of Technology Assessment panel.

The panel of experts will analyze how demographic shifts in the nation's age structure might interact with technical innovations to create new challenges and opportunities. The panelists will help the Office of Technology Assessment to develop policy options for presentation to Congress in January 1984.…
