Abstract

In the past seven issues of JGN, we have been introduc' ing, individually, the new members of our Editorial Board. With this issue we would like to introduce and welcome, Kathleen Heitzeg Taylor, MSN.

Kathleen Heitzeg Taylor, MSN, is the former Chairman of the AD Nursing Program at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. She received her diploma from Fairview Hospital School of Nursing in Minneapolis, Minnesota; her BA from Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma; and her MSN from the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City.

Ms. Taylor was certified by the ANA in 1974 in gerontological nursing. She was Director of Nursing Service at Windsor Hills Health Care Facility, Oklahoma City for eight years.

Ms. Taylor was a member of the ANA Gerontological Certification Board from 1975 to 1977. She was Chairman of the ANA Gerontological Certification Board and a member of the ANA Interdivisional Council on Certification from 1977 to 1979. She was Chairman of the Gerontological Division of the Oklahoma Nurses' Association from 1977 to 1979. She is currently a Provider Member of the Oklahoma Health Systems Agency Subarea Council VI and inservice consultant to Chilcoat Manor.

Ms. Taylor has taken the summer off and is currently traveling in Norway.…
