NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — At the Interdisciplinary Conference on Orthopedic Value-Based Care, James D. Cappozi, MD, shared advice on how to outline a strategy when negotiating for implant costs. He recommended the development of a team comprised of administrators, financial advisors and surgeons, and implanting strategies, such as going to a single vendor or coming up with a single price and seeing which vendors are willing to accommodate that price.
