ATLANTA – Agustin L. Gonzalez, OD, FAAO, said the results of the Antibiotic Resistance Monitoring in Ocular Microorganisms (ARMOR) study indicate that the incidence of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and resistance to Pseudomonas are on the rise.

“If you have a heavy contact lens office, it’s important to pay attention to these studies,” he said here at SECO.
