The aim of the technique shown in this video is the cosmetic restoration of disfigured corneas and the functional correction of dysphotopsia or other visual disabilities related to abnormal pupils, including colobomas and peripheral iridotomies. The same technique can also be used as a purely cosmetic procedure in healthy eyes to change the color of the iris.

We recommend this procedure because it produces remarkable results and it is at the same time minimally traumatic and extremely safe. Other methods suggested for the correction of cosmetically disabled eyes, such as evisceration, are far more aggressive and involve mutilating surgery.

We use lasers that are at this moment not proven for this specific purpose in terms of safety, but have been used for 10 years, with reported outcomes in the scientific literature and one book.

We have treated more than 300 cases, with reports published in the following reference list.
