A new study will assess the overall prevalence of dry eye disease in the United Kingdom, according to a press release from TearLab.

The study will be conducted in collaboration with the U.K.’s National Health Service and will include 1,000 patients who have a wide variety of dry eye complications.

Tear osmolarity testing will be used as a diagnostic measure to detect the presence of dry eye disease, the release said.
