BOSTON — Maria Fleseriu, MD, FACE, professor of medicine and neurologic surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University, discusses her presentation on Cushing’s disease and treatment selection.

According to Fleseriu, even 100 years after the discovery of Cushing’s disease, clinicians still struggle with late diagnosis of patients.

“This brings us to all of the comorbidities that all of the patients have and thus makes it harder to find the right treatment after they fail the initial surgery,” Fleseriu said.
