The Kiawah Eye 2020 Meeting has been Rescheduled
New Dates: September 10-12, Kiawah Island, South Carolina

Thorofare, NJ — The organizers of Kiawah Eye have rescheduled this year’s meeting to September 10-12, 2020 at the Kiawah Island Resort in South Carolina.

The decision was made as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak in the U.S. and based on information obtained from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) as well as state and local governments.

“We rescheduled Kiawah Eye from May to September, because the health and safety of attendees, faculty and industry partners cannot be put at risk. These next few weeks remain uncertain at this time and we feel this is the best decision,” said Eric D. Donnenfeld, MD, Co-Course Director of Kiawah Eye.

The meeting is essentially moving from the weekend after Memorial Day to the weekend after Labor Day, so the weather will be similar and all the same activities that attendees enjoy will be available including golf, tennis, hiking and biking trails, the beach, the pool, the spa and so on. We’re excited to introduce attendees to the beautiful new conference center as well as program enhancements such as the Oyster Roast & BBQ on Thursday, new breakfast seminars held daily and more time dedicated to favorite sessions like Ground Rounds, Interactive Cornea and Case Management.

“Many other meetings are being canceled altogether, so we feel fortunate to have secured new fall dates when we anticipate a much healthier environment in the U.S.” said Kerry D. Solomon, MD, Co-Course Director of Kiawah Eye. “We’re very enthusiastic about the enhancements we made to our program plus the new conference center, so we still believe Kiawah Eye 2020 will be our best experience on record.”

Our hope is that every faculty member, attendee and industry partner will be able to join us over the new dates. However, we understand that is not realistic for everyone. Here’s how we’re going to manage this process over the next few weeks...

1) FEES

Attendees, Exhibitors, Supporters and Sponsors will receive an email and letter stating the new dates. Please reply within 30 days and let us know if you:

2) ROOMS
