“Telling It Like It Is” is now a comprehensive ophthalmology CME meeting!

Cataract Surgery: Telling It Like It Is was established by Dr. Robert H. Osher a decade ago to deliver a candid style of teaching and learning on anything that cataract surgeons (and rising trainees) might find useful. To keep up with the educational needs of the attendees as their role in patient care continues to evolve, this meeting is about to enter phase two in 2023!

Now titled “Telling It Like It Is” to more accurately indicate that the meeting will cover not only cataract surgery but also other critically important areas for ophthalmologists. Dr. Robert H. Osher will be joined by Dr. Richard L. Lindstrom as Program Directors who will organize the overall program. A new program planning committee comprised of nationally-renowned physicians will each moderate a topic in their area of expertise, including:

  • Cataract Surgery
  • Practice Management
  • Subspeciality updates
  • Retina
  • Glaucoma
  • Cornea and Externa Diseases
  • Refractive/Cataract and Refractive Cornea
  • New Technology Updates

What else is new?

  • The meeting will now offer CME! Vindico Medical Education has designated this live activity for a maximum of 23 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.
  • This new property features a rooftop pool, stunning marina views and close proximity to the vibrant nightlife of Tampa's Water Street neighborhood and Riverwalk.
  • A “meet the faculty” reception will offer more networking time with colleagues.
  • More exhibit time will create engagement opportunities with industry.
  • Breakfast/lunch seminars will held daily as they become supported/sponsored.
