A testament to our excellent presenters and programming, both attendee and industry feedback were overwhelmingly positive in 2019. At Kiawah Eye, we bring the most pertinent topics to the discussion table. We teach the comprehensive ophthalmologist how to make his/her practice survive in the modern healthcare environment. We offer pearls to make procedures more efficient, safe or yield better results. And we spend a lot of time on complications and challenging cases – identifying, managing and overcoming – the attendees and faculty will even debate each other. What really sets this meeting apart is our style of presenting with energy, engagement and humor, which has always been the basis of Kiawah Eye and why so many attendees enjoy it. It’s large enough to bring out the best in ophthalmology, but small enough to have a personal appeal, where you feel like you have one-on-one relationships with many of the ophthalmologists here at the meeting. At the end of the day, we’ll all end up learning a tremendous amount from each other and enjoying our time in this beautiful location.
