Wyanoke Group announces Healio rebranding

In an effort to improve the user experience for its health provider audiences, the Wyanoke Group is rebranding its live event, digital and publishing arms under the Healio umbrella, the company announced in a press release.

The changes, which will take effect Sept. 3, include:

  • Healio Formerly doing business as SLACK Incorporated, Healio encompasses many divisions, including News, UX and their supporting departments.
  • Healio Strategic Solutions, LLC – The newly created entity, Healio Strategic Solutions, includes Advertising, Custom and Client Solutions teams.
  • Healio Live – The former Association & Meeting Solutions, now Healio Live, develops and executes live professional meetings, conferences and events.

“As the Healio platform continues to grow and evolve, the wider adoption of the Healio brand was the next logical progression,” Peter N. Slack, President and CEO of the Wyanoke Group, said in the release. “The rebranding strategy provides a clearer and more cohesive user experience for our loyal audience of health care professionals along with our customers and industry supporters.”

Peer-reviewed journals and professional textbooks will continue to be published and marketed under the SLACK Incorporated brand.
