Mayo Clinic Diet ties with Weight Watchers as Best Commercial Diet by U.S. News & World Report

The Mayo Clinic Diet has been named the best commercial diet and tied with Weight Watchers, according to the U.S. News & World Report 2017 best diet rankings.

The Mayo Clinic Diet promotes offering effective and simple ways to change an individual’s lifestyle to lose unwanted weight and keep it off. The plan begins with a “quick start” phase, which is designed to help dieters lose 6 to 10 pounds in the first 2 weeks. This phase includes adding healthy habits and breaking less healthy habits. The second phase, called Live It!, helps dieters transition these new habits into a healthy lifestyle.
