Miscellaneous ECG 33
- Normal sinus rhythm
- Non-specific interventricular conduction delay
- Left atrial enlargement
- Fusion beats
This ECG shows a wide-QRS complex which does not meet criteria for a right or left bundle branch block. This is termed a non-specific interventricular conduction delay. Note the two QRS complexes which are randomly more narrow appearing. This may be similar to a "capture beat" seen during ventricular tachycardia in that the normal conduction system was used during that beat. These two QRS complexes are slightly wide compared to a normal one and thus likely represents a "fusion" of the normal QRS complex and that with the non-specific interventricular conduction delay.
