All ECG 159
- Accelerated junctional rhythm
- Prolonged QT interval
This is an accelerated junctional rhythm and P wave activity can be seen at the end of the QRS complexes in lead I and lead III. The QT is quite prolonged. This ECG was from a patient with genetic prolonged QT syndrome Type I. The ECG shows broad based T waves which is typical for this type. Long QT type II shows low amplitude T waves frequently with a notch. Long QT syndrome type III shows an extended ST segment with a relatively narrow T wave which can be peaked.
