Summary: Evaluated warfarin versus aspirin in patients with heart failure and EF < 35%. The primary endpoint of time to first event of ischemic stroke, intracranial hemorrhage or death from any cause was not reduced by warfarin. There was a decrease in ischemic stroke which was offset by an increase major bleeding including intracranial hemorrhage.
