Summary: Evaluated implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs) versus none in patients with non-ischemic cardiomyopathies, EF < 35% and premature ventricular contractions or non-sustained ventricular tachycardia. The primary endpoint of reduction of sudden cardiac death was significantly reduced.
