KEY POINTS A diverse range of therapies form this group, including and not limited to acupressure, bone setting, craniosacral therapy, joint/spinal manipulation, massage, reflexology, shiatsu, etc. Such therapies have been shown to be beneficial in a variety of ailments (eg, constipation and pain). Manual or manipulative therapies utilize hands-on physical intervention for the treatment of a diverse group of diseases. It is the third common of all CAM therapies used by patients.
