Meditation has a profound effect on the body, especially in cardiopulmonary physiology. Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) is a secular clinical practice and results in overt alteration of grey matter. Conventional psychotherapy tends to focus on a single therapy and a specific outcome.
