A 32-year-old Vietnamese woman was admitted to our hospital with severe acute abdominal pain. One day prior, while walking through a wooded park, she collected and then consumed 7 wild mushrooms found at the base of a large tree. Approximately 6 hours after ingestion, the patient developed fatigue, abdominal pain, and watery diarrhea. The next day, her pain became severe and was accompanied by myalgias, arthralgias, and lightheadedness. The patient had no significant medical history.
