An 82-year-old man with multiple medical comorbidities including coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, and atrial fibrillation presented with overt GI bleeding. Upper and lower endoscopies were performed with unrevealing results. Capsule endoscopy examination was then performed while the patient was in the intensive care unit. The M2A capsule endoscopy system (Given Imaging, Yoqneam, Israel) was used, and images were reviewed with the RAPID application software (Given Imaging).
