Chung Shi, in partnership with PrimeCare O&P Network, St. Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral in Memphis, Tenn., and the West Tennessee Partnership for Haiti, donated more than 100 pairs of Dux shoes to St. Vincent’s Center for Handicapped Children in Port Au Prince, Haiti, according to a press release.

St. Vincent’s Center for Handicapped Children is a residential and day school that provides for the nutritional and medical needs for seriously handicapped children in Haiti. It is chronically underfunded and relies heavily on the help and support of individuals and groups in the United States.

“For me personally, being involved in helping others is its own reward. I support missions to Kenya and Guatemala through my church and, locally, am on the Board for Family Selection for Habitat for Humanity in Atlanta,” Dave Winchell, president of Chung Shi, said in the release. “Organizationally, we are very passionate about our commitment toward helping those in need.”
