Abstract

This article presents a unique case of a 17-year-old high school volleyball player with repetitive trauma and an initial diagnosis of left sacroiliac joint pathology with up-slip of the left illium. An anterior superior iliac spine heterotopic ossification with associated large bone mass resulted.
