- Define ocular surface health and its overall role in optimizing vision and eye comfort.
- Identify the clinical and environmental factors which may adversely impact ocular surface health.
- Discuss available research findings that quantify the changes to the ocular surface caused by chronic exposure to eyedrop preservatives.
- Explain how strategies that improve the ocular surface can favorably benefit patient adherence to antiglaucoma pharmacotherapy.
