HOTEL RESERVATION PROCEDURE — NEW THIS YEAR!

Room reservations will only be accepted after you have completed meeting registration for Orthopedics Today Hawaii 2014. Special discounted room rates at the Grand Wailea are available exclusively for meeting attendees. Room block rates and quantities are limited and meeting registration alone does not guarantee a hotel room.

Only one (1) reservation is permitted per meeting registrant. Meeting Registration reserves the right to cancel any additional reservations made by same registrant (at the expense of the registrant).

 How do I create a new reservation at the Grand Wailea?

You will automatically be directed to the hotel reservation website after you complete meeting registration. Hotel reservations can only be accepted through the hotel reservation website; reservations cannot be accepted by phone, fax, email or by contacting the hotel directly. In the event of an error during the reservation process and you need to regain access to the hotel reservation website, please email Meeting Registration and we would be happy to assist you in gaining access again. We recommend you make your reservation as early as possible, as space is limited and fills up quickly!

 I already made my reservation after I submitted my meeting registration. How can I make a change to or cancel my reservation?

You can modify/cancel your current reservation (you’ll need to enter your last name and the acknowledgement number found in your hotel reservation acknowledgement e-mail).

HOTEL POLICIES

Grand Wailea

Check-in: 3:00 PM; Checkout: 12:00 PM.

Reservation Deadline: Reservations will be available at the discounted group rate until December 25, 2013 or until the room block is sold out.

Billing Information: A two night, non-refundable room and tax deposit will be taken at the time of booking. Remaining balances will be taken at or around 30 days prior to arrival; reservations will be completely non-refundable at that time. Reservations must be accompanied by a two night, non-refundable deposit (per room). Reservations will not be held without a deposit. The hotel accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. There is a $50 per person, per night charge for more than two persons (does not apply to children under 17) in any standard guest room, with a maximum of four persons per room. Room rates do not include 13.416% per room, per night tax. The hotel charges a mandatory $20.83 Resort Fee per room, per night*. PORTERAGE AND HOUSEKEEPING GRATUITY WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY ADDED TO THE ROOM CHARGES: PORTERAGE FEES ARE $10.42 PER PERSON, ROUND TRIP; HOUSEKEEPING DAILY GRATUITY IS $3.13 PER STANDARD GUEST ROOM.

Reservation Modification Policy: Reservation modifications will be accepted without penalty up until 30 days prior to arrival, so long as each reservation remains at least two room nights. Modifications received after this time will result in full retention of monies paid for the original stay (plus applicable taxes); payment for any additional night(s) will be assessed prior to arrival.

Reservation Cancellation Policy: From the time of booking until 30 days prior to arrival, all cancellations received within this time period will be assessed two nights' penalty, plus applicable taxes. Within 30 days of arrival, all modification and cancellations received within this time period will be assessed the full length of original stay, plus applicable taxes.

*Daily Resort Fee includes the following:

• A tropical flower lei greeting upon arrival
• Welcome Mai Tai Hawaiian Punch (non-alcoholic) at the designated check-in area
• Unlimited local, toll-free, and credit card calls (no access fee)
• Coffee and tea in guest rooms
• Unlimited use of Spa Grande's Fitness Center, featuring cardiovascular and strength training equipment
• Participation in yoga classes
• Admission to twice-daily SCUBA clinics
• 24-Hour business kiosk
• Complimentary beach umbrellas for use on Wailea Beach (subject to resort's inventory)
• Participation in scheduled Art and Garden Tours featuring the works of Botero, Leger and Chihuly
• In-room high speed internet access (up to 2MB), with wireless capability

Parking: The hotel is an all valet parking hotel. There is no self parking available. Valet parking is offered at a special group rate of $26.04 per night (inclusive of tax).
