HOTEL RESERVATIONS

 For both the Grand Hyatt Kauai and the Sheraton Kauai Resorts

Room reservations will only be accepted after you have completed meeting registration for Hawaiian Eye 2014. Special reduced room rates are available exclusively for Hawaiian Eye attendees at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and at the Sheraton Kauai Resort. Room block rates and quantities are limited and meeting registration alone does not guarantee you space at either hotel.

Only one (1) reservation is permitted per meeting registrant. Meeting Registration reserves the right to cancel any additional reservations made by same registrant (at the expense of the registrant).

Important Notice: To insure that you receive the discounted group room rate, a two- night non-refundable deposit is required. The balance of your hotel stay will be non-refundable after the hotel cutoff dates as stated below. Your reservation indicates your acceptance of this policy.

You will be automatically directed to the hotel reservation website after you complete meeting registration. Hotel reservations can only be accepted through the hotel reservation website; reservations cannot be accepted by phone, fax, e-mail, or by contacting the hotel directly. Should you need to regain access to the hotel reservation website, please contact Meeting Registration. We recommend that you make your reservation as early as possible, as space is limited and fills up quickly!

HOTEL POLICIES

Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa

Check-in: 3:00 PM; Checkout: 12:00 PM.
If a late check-out is requested after 12:00 PM, a charge of 50% of the group rate will be assessed. Late check-out after 6:00 PM will be charged a full day’s rate.

Reservation Deadline: Reservations will be available at the group rate until December 18, 2013 or until the room block is sold out.

Billing Information: A two night, non-refundable room and tax deposit will be taken at the time of booking. Remaining balances will be taken within 30 days prior to arrival; reservations will be completely non-refundable at that time. Reservations must be accompanied by a two night, non-refundable deposit (per room). Reservations will not be held without a deposit. Visa, MasterCard or American Express are accepted. There is a $75.00 per person/night charge for more than two persons (does not apply to children under 18) in any room, with a maximum of four persons per room. Room rates do not include 13.416% per room, per night tax. The hotel charges a mandatory $18.00 Daily Resort Fee* plus applicable taxes per room, per night.

Mandatory porterage charges are currently $9.00 per person, round trip plus 4.166% state tax, subject to change. This rate is based on two bags per person.

Housekeeping: Suggested daily gratuity is $3.50 per standard guest room. Housekeeping gratuities will be up to the individual’s discretion.

Reservation Modification Policy: Reservation modifications will be accepted without penalty up until 30 days prior to arrival, so long as each reservation remains at least two room nights. Modifications received after this time will result in full retention of monies paid for the original stay (plus applicable taxes); payment for any additional night(s) will be assessed prior to arrival.

Reservation Cancellation Policy: From the time of booking until 30 days prior to arrival, all cancellations received within this time period will be assessed two nights' penalty, plus applicable taxes. Within 30 days of arrival, all modification and cancellations received within this time period will be assessed the full length of original stay, plus applicable taxes.

*Daily Resort Fee is $18.00 per day plus applicable taxes and includes the following:

• Access charges for 1-800 or 1-888 phone numbers; Local telephone calls.
• Self parking.
• Access to 24-hour workout facility, fitness and yoga classes, (age requirement 14 years).
• Local newspaper.
• In-room bottled water.
• In-room coffee maker with complimentary coffee.
• In-room Safe.
• Incoming faxes.
• One-hour court time per day at the Tennis Garden, reservations are required.
• 10% Off selected merchandise at Anara Spa.
• 10% Off selected merchandise at the Tennis Center.
• 10% Off Business Center computer internet usage.
• 10% Off selected merchandise and rentals at Captain Andy’s Lagoon-Side Hut.
• 10% Off regular merchandise at Poipu Bay Golf pro Shop.

Internet access fee: $14.95 for 24-hours, subject to change.

Parking: Self-parking is included in resort fee. Valet parking available at the daily rate of $10.00. Gratuities are suggested.

Sheraton Kauai Resort, Poipu Beach

Check-in: 3:00 PM; Checkout: 11:00 AM.
Guests arriving prior to check-in shall be accommodated as rooms become available. The Hotel shall accommodate late check-outs subject to space availability only.

Reservation Deadline: Reservations will be available at the group rate until 5:00 PM local time on December 18, 2013 or until the room block is sold out.

Billing Information: A two night, non-refundable deposit will be taken at the time of booking. Remaining balances will be taken within 45 days prior to arrival; reservations will be completely non-refundable at that time. Reservations must be accompanied by a two night, non-refundable deposit (per room). Reservations will not be held without a deposit. A credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) is required to guarantee all reservations. There is a $50 per person/night charge for more than two persons (does not apply to children under 18) in any room, with a maximum of four persons per room. Room rates do not include 13.416% per room, per night tax. There is a mandatory Daily Resort Fee* of $30.00 per day.*

• Two Mai Tai coupons.
• Self-parking.
• Oceanfront Fitness Center.
• Use of Tennis Courts.
• Internet, local calls and toll-free numbers.
• Cultural Arts, Crafts and Activities.
• Discount on select beach rental items.
• Resort Vehicle with service to select Poipu Beach locations during current hours of operation.
• Resort charge inclusions are subject to change.
