Target Audience: This program is designed for oncologists, dermatologists, researchers, physician assistants, nurses and students who are involved in the treatment of high-risk melanoma.
Learning Objectives:
After reviewing the material, the participants should be able to:
- Compare interferon dosing regimens for their ability to improve relapse-free and overall survival in patients with advanced melanoma.
- Evaluate evidence-based guidelines, clinical study data, and patient medical history, performance status, and co-morbidities when incorporating high-dose interferon, pegylated interferon, or observation in patients with advanced, non-metastatic melanoma to individualize therapy for each patient.
