ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR of the PAMF Cancer Care Program of Excellence
Currently seeking an Administrative Director to provide overall direction and management,
operational planning, administrative coordination and implementation of its programs
and activities.
The successful candidate for this high-profile position will work closely with the
Clinical Director and Medical Director to facilitate the strategic planning and
ongoing growth and development of the Cancer Program. The Administrative Director
will also coordinate the operations of the Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology
services, as well as integrate the Surgical Oncology service into the Cancer Program.
Other key responsibilities include preparing and updating the Program's annual budget,
and monitoring the Program's financial performance and reporting requirements; performing
financial analysis and projections; ensuring the cost-effectiveness of all the Program's
activities; and preparing and overseeing budget and contractual issues for the Cancer
Research Program in conjunction with the PAMF Research Institute. In addition, you
will implement and maintain systems and procedures to ensure safe, efficient, optimum
levels of quality patient care; coordinate promotion of services to patients and
third-party payers; direct and evaluate community relations and promotional activity;
and work with PAMF Philanthropy Development Department to increase philanthropic
support for the Cancer Program.
To qualify for this position, you must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the
management of a sizeable Cancer Care program, as well as a professional clinical
background and a Masters Degree in Health Services Administration or the equivalent.
We seek an individual with a thorough knowledge of program planning and operations,
and the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with medical and
administrative staff, patients and the public. Must have excellent judgment, problem-
solving and decision-making, organizational and communication skills, as well as
demonstrated successful experience with medical staff relations, human resource
management, and financial control systems.
CLINICAL MANAGER FOR ONCOLOGY & INFUSION
The Clinical Manager is responsible for managing the complex scheduling and staffing
needs for departments with large numbers of staff and physicians, multiple scopes
of practice, an multiple shift/support needs. Will also oversee the Primary Care
Services department so that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at
all times. Duties include hiring, disciplining, coaching/counseling, orienting and
evaluating all qualified personnel for all disciplines involved in home health services.
This position requires a BA/BS or equivalent clinical work experience, current CA
Registered Nurse license, and a minimum of 3 years management experience in a clinical
setting. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication
skills are a must. Demonstrated problem-solving and leadership abilities, and a
strong commitment to high-level patient service and satisfaction also required.
MA, LVN or RN preferred. Previous working experience in an Oncology or Infusion
Center strongly preferred.

REQUIRED:

- Skills generally necessary will include: organizational skills, general office skills
(i.e. typing, filing, phone skills), word processing/computer skills, and strong
written and oral communication skills.
- Requires ability to maintain professionalism and patience when working with patients

- Sensitivity to a diverse population.
- Experience or willingness to work with volunteers in a supervisory capacity.
- Drive and passion for working with oncology patients and families, attention to
detail and ability to provide considerate and intelligent follow through with providers,

areas of a busy retail environment.

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
Rain or Shine 2 is open Monday-Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday from 10am-3pm. This
position will be a .5 FTE in August, and will transition to a 1.0 FTE in September
(tentative opening date is September 7th) when the store opens. Fitter schedule
may be adjusted to meet the needs of patient appointments, and must be open to working
a Tuesday-Saturday schedule.
