Invokana shows promise in reducing body weight, HbA1c, BP in type 2 diabetes

Clinically meaningful body-weight reductions were found among patients with type 2 diabetes assigned Invokana, according to recent study findings.

Further, reductions in HbA1c and systolic blood pressure were linked to the weight loss, according to the researchers.
